Accomplish your goals.
...or else

Set goals, prove completion, or lose access to distracting apps. Real consequences for real results.

How it works

Three simple steps to transform your productivity

01

Set your goal

Choose a specific task or habit you want to complete.

02

Set a deadline

Choose when you want to complete your goal and which distracting apps to block if you don't.

03

Prove completion or get blocked

Submit proof before the deadline passes. Otherwise, Accountable AI blocks access to your distracting apps until you do.

Everything you need to know about Accountable AI

Accountable AI is perfect for anyone who struggles with procrastination and wants real accountability. This includes students procrastinating on assignments, professionals putting off important projects, entrepreneurs avoiding business tasks, people trying to build healthy habits like exercise or reading, and anyone who finds themselves mindlessly scrolling social media instead of doing what they know they should be doing.

If you've tried other productivity apps but found them easy to ignore, or if you're someone who needs external pressure to stay motivated, this app is designed specifically for you. It works best for people who are serious about change and ready to commit to real consequences.

Because we're the only app built on the principle of real, unavoidable consequences. Most productivity apps are passive suggestions—easy to set up and even easier to ignore. They rely on your self-discipline, which is the very thing that fails when you're procrastinating.

Accountable AI creates a commitment device. By linking your goals to real-world consequences (losing access to your favorite apps), we tap into a powerful psychological principle: loss aversion. The short-term pain of losing access to Instagram is more immediate and motivating than the long-term, abstract reward of finishing your project. We make procrastination more inconvenient than progress.

We designed our system specifically to prevent this. Our AI doesn't just "see" a picture; it analyzes it in context. It cross-references the photo's hidden metadata—like the timestamp, device information, and signs of editing—against your goal's creation date. Submitting an old photo from your camera roll or a downloaded image from the internet will be flagged.

The goal isn't to punish you; it's to create a system so robust that the path of least resistance is to simply do the work. It helps you stay honest with yourself.

We use Apple's own secure Screen Time API to temporarily block access to the apps and websites you choose. This is an on-device function that you control. When your goal's deadline passes, the rule you set is activated. Once you submit valid proof and it's verified, the block is lifted automatically.

The difference is active accountability versus passive limits. Phone screen time limits are designed to be easily bypassed. We've all tapped "Ignore Limit for 15 Minutes" five times in a row. They are suggestions.

Accountable AI is a system. It's not about limiting your time; it's about earning your distractions. Access is granted only upon proof of completion. Think of it this way: Screen Time is a speed bump you can drive over. Accountable AI is a locked gate, and only completing your goal gives you the key.

Life happens, and we understand that. In the current version, the block will activate automatically as designed. However, as soon as you are able to complete the task and submit your proof, access is restored immediately. The system is firm, but it's not permanent. We are exploring features for future versions, like a limited-use "emergency pause," but our core philosophy is that the reliability of the consequence is what makes the system effective.

Yes. That is the ultimate goal. By consistently enforcing the connection between action and reward (your distracting apps), Accountable AI helps retrain your brain's dopamine response. Over time, you begin to break the cycle of instant gratification from scrolling and replace it with the earned satisfaction of accomplishment. Many of our users find that after a few weeks, their desire to procrastinate naturally decreases because they've built a new, more productive habit loop.

Yes, 100%. Security is at the core of our design. All your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols. Critically, all proof photos are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers 30 days after submission. We only keep them long enough to resolve any potential disputes.

Never. We will never sell your personal information or share it for advertising purposes. Our business model is simple: we provide a valuable service through a transparent subscription. Your trust is not for sale.

Accountable AI offers a free trial so you can experience the full power of the app. After the trial period, a subscription is required to continue creating goals and using the accountability features. This subscription model allows us to remain ad-free and ensures we never have to sell your data.

If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. Afterwards, you will not be able to create new goals, but you will still be able to view your goal history. Any active app-blocking consequences will remain in effect until you submit proof for those goals.
